- Press the MENU key to bring up the setting menu, scroll and select Record mode, press the right arrow key to enter the record mode menu. 2. Select Record from Mic and press the right arrow key to enter the record mode. 3. Press the down arrow key to start the recording, speak over the build in MIC on the side of the HDD. 4. Once the recording is completed, press the left arrow key to stop the recording or press the down arrow key again if you want to start the recording on a new track.
