There are a few possibilities why the appliance doesn't start operating:
- Connection problem: check if the plug has been inserted in the wall socket properly. Remove the mains plug from the wall socket and reinsert it
- Cover has not been properly attached to the bowl: press the cover down onto the bowl until it locks into place with a click
