The fruit blend out is smooth and when you drink, you don’t really drink the fibrous of the fruit. One of the adding point is this set come with the on the go tumbler which after you blender your smoothie, you can bring it out or store it in the frigde to be drink later! Overall, it is an awesome blender to consider to purchase if you do not have one at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am used to drinking softdrinks and processed juices all day everyday and didnt like to make my own drink until i got the Phillips Blender. I thought before that having a blender will waste my time in cleaning it but actually it was easy to clean. I have been using it twice a every weekday and 3x every week end. The good thing about this is that it made my drink healthier because i can mixed all the fruits that i want with the green leafy vegetables and it wont affect the taste. Not only that i drink healthy now, I started running aswell since being healthy gives me more energy. I lost 8 kg by just drinking healthier and combining it with exercise "Mindset changed after getting the blender" I is so easy to use that after removing it from the box, clean it then plug and use. My recommended ice blended drink is " manberrna" Mango, strawberry, Banana, yogurt and ice. I will also recommend lettuce, strawberry, Banana, Yogurt & ice (You wont taste the green leafy vegetables.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best blender I have ever encounter. Firstly, the base is rock solid, which you do not have to worried the blender moves while blending. Secondly, the holder itself is make of solid material which probably explains why it can make a good smoothies. Thirdly, the blade just design in such a way that the food is thoroughly blender which ensure you really are drinking smoothies and not encounter some solid food not blended. This product just save me money as I do not have to go smoothies stalls anymore as I am making execellent myself!! Cheers to Philips!!

It was good for 1st time use where it was smooth. Subsequent use was not as smooth. Definitely can't crush ice which I don't know why. Please help.

It took much less time than my old blender to make fruit slurpee. Fruit sorbet for breakfast in the morning made simpler!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ProBlend 6 is the latest Viva Collection and the one of the more powerful blender available in Philips. It comes with the standard 2L good glass quality jug and the additional of on-the-go bottle comes in useful. Like the HR2170 which we still has, this lastest blender is 100W more powerful with 700W in operation. The function are simillar with a dedicated Ice crushing selector which makes it super easy to use. Even my 9 year older kids is able to use un-supervise. He loves making smoothies and he can easily get use to operating it in minutes of introducing him to this new blender. He took under 30mins to prepare a healthy smoothies drink for us effortlessly. The linear speed adjustment helps to make the operation smooth and suction base holds the body on the counter firmly. The blades are removeable and easy to wash under running water. The parts are also dish washer safe. The additional on-the-go bottle comes in handy for me to prepare my protein shakes with fruits and yogurt thrown in. Then I would just change flipped it over to change the blades adaptor to the bottle cap and slot it into my office bag. In conclusion, this is a no-nonsense simple and easy to use blender recommended for busy executives.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The main unit has suction pads under it, which keeps it very stable. The blender is made of glass with clear markings at its side. It is a bit heavy for me. The blade is very sharp. It blended my pandan leaves with some water, into a paste very quickly (photo 2). The tumbler jar is made of good plastic with clear markings. The small lid that comes with it, is very good because it doesn't drip and I can bring along with me. I used it to blend my protein drink with frozen grapes, and the blade was strong enough to blend the frozen grapes with my protein powder and water, into a smooth smoothie. Cleaning the blender and tumbler jar is very easy. The only downside of this tumbler jar is the removal of the Sealing ring to the blade unit. I had to use a butter knife and a small pincers tongs to remove it, before I can clean it.

Its suction cups ensure that the unit is stable and would not be accidentally knocked over when in use. Markings on the blender and tumbler jars is a nice touch, making measurements easy. Using the blender is intuitive. We made a smoothie of avocado in the blender jar and it is a breeze. Using the tumbler jar, we made a vanilla milk shake and we are able to enjoy the drink direct from the tumbler. We can't wait to try out other fruits and ingredients. Cleaning the blender is not a hassle, as all the parts can be easily removed and cleaned. All in, this is a well built, efficient machine, which will be a welcome addition to your kitchen.
