Magic Electronic Skip Protection™ ensures skip-free music even when your MP3-CD player is knocked or jolted. Devices with the feature have an intelligent electronic buffer that can store different music formats such as MP3, WMA and CDDA. During playback, music is constantly fed into the buffer. When the device is jolted, music is played from the buffer while the laser promptly refocuses to the point where the shock occurred, and recommences playing to refill the buffer. Magic Electronic Skip Protection™ can offer long skip protection depending on the bit rate of the digital audio file.
