An HDMI-ready device has all the required hardware to accept High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) input. A HDMI cable enables high-quality digital video and audio all transmitted over a single cable from a PC or any number of AV sources (including set-top boxes, DVD players, A/V receivers and video cameras).
Philips MultiView feature on this expansive 4K UHD display enables you to have up to four systems each shown in Full HD on one screen. You can use the Picture-by-Picture (PbP) for monitoring four systems on one screen for control rooms or security. Or for multiple devices like two notebooks side-by-side simultaneously, making collaboration more productive. Or Picture-in-Picture mode (PiP) watching a live football feed from your set-top box, while working on your PC.
DisplayPort is a digital link from PC to Monitor without any conversion. With higher capabilities than DVI standard, it is fully capable to support up to 15meter cables and 10.8 Gbps/sec data transfer. With this high performance and zero latency, you get the fastest imaging and refresh rates - making DisplayPort the best choice for not only general office or home use, but also for the demanding gaming and movies, video editing and more. It also keeps interoperability in mind via use of various adapters.

Under rated monitor
No frills monitor well fit for office and some multi media usage. This single monitor has enough real-estate to replace my 32 & 24 inch monitors combination.
Pros
1. Excellent video quality 2. Multi view/source feature 3. connection selection
Cons
1. Need software to manage multi view 2. Puny sounding speakers
Yes, I recommend this product

simply AWESOME!!!!
Do note that this is based on my expectations and my own personal preferences. 1. Screen more than 40" => 43" - Yay 2. min 2k Resolution => it's 4k - Superb 3. Hopefully it's IPS => IPS 10bit - Awesome 4. Don't want a TV => Proper MONITOR 5. Very Importantly, Pricing, => RM1,549 in Shopee during 4.4 sale... OMG Come on guys, you get a 4k, 5GTG IPS 43" Monitor that is from PHILIPS at RM1,549.... What the heck are you guys waiting for???? I will give 10 stars if I could. Simply loved it!!!!

Best Buy!!
I am used to Dell, BUT when you start to think, honestly, wheat is the difference?? A little better control placement, the front IS better than the back side, I use two Phillips 439P1 and the back side "is out reach" on one.. Ended up with the Philips 439P1 over the Dell U4323QE, and at half the price ($599 vs $1,199) I'm happy with that call. On paper the Philips actually wins most rounds: brighter (400 vs 350 nits), far better contrast (4000:1 vs 1000:1, the VA panel's strength), a wider color gamut, and Adaptive-Sync on top. Where the Dell earns its price is the IPS panel and factory calibration. On a screen this big you look at the corners from an angle, and IPS keeps colors more even out there. The Dell also has nicer physical buttons. For everyday work on a Mac, the Philips does the job without paying extra for the name. Pros
The quality of the screen, the price, it is the monitor I have seen avywhere, so I have 2 of it.
Cons
The physical desktop is on the back side of the monitor
