LCD monitor with SmartControl Lite

I love the Philips LCD monitor as it is easy on my eyes. The LED's are great and the picture is just terrific. This is another quality product from Philips.

I bought these for a twin monitor setup for my home office. The colour, resolution and crispness is good and they have blue light management support. They are comfortable to use for extended periods. My only criticisms are 1. Lack of display-port connections - you are limited to HDMI, DVI, D-SUB/VGA. This means you need a converter or special cable if using a more modern PC dock, which are generally have a DP and an HDMI connection or even two DP. And without DP in and out daisy chaining monitors is not possible. 2. I cannot get the sound to work with my docking station audio out or with HDMI.

This is a very good monitor and great value of money.

I've found that there are no issues with the sound and video. The only issue I've really had is that whenever my pc screen goes off for more than a minute or so (not powered off but like to sleep) my monitor will continue to say "no video input" even when my pc is back on. Other than it's pretty good.

This monitor does produce the performance I am needing, but I feel like there is something missing when it comes to very colourful areas in games and movies. It likes to dim the brightness and contrast in the bright colours.

The picture is great but the sound is shocking. I had no problems with the setting up of the monitor, all went well.

Using it for cad work and it works very good. I had and experience with a full HD on a 22 inch which was not great as it just made things smaller. The only viewable comment is the 8 ms gray refresh that sort of bothering on scrolling websites with black background. Otherwise it excellent with my work. Color matching it with my 206VL is a challenge as this model has warmer backlit but more relaxing than the too cool backlit of the 206VL which is harsh on longer viewing times. Had to Bring the 206VL to 4700K to mimic the 243V

While I play games, some colours get dragged out, like the reds and greens, which makes games unplayable. Other than that, great monitor.

Screen looks nice, thin surround but included cables are crap come with VGA cable - bit dated no pc's come with VGA cable any more Power cable has non standard Plug
