How do I recharge my Philips GoGear?

You can recharge the GoGear by simply connecting the included AC adapter/charger to your player via the connector at the bottom of the player, and then plug it into a standard AC outlet. Also, after upgrading to the latest firmware your player will recharge when it's connected to your computer via the USB cable. For information on upgrading your firmware see the FAQ - How do I upgrade my GoGear with the latest firmware? If you cannot see the display come on even with the unit connected to the power supply, do a soft reset by pressing and holding the Power On/Off button and the Volume + key for a couple of seconds. Then charge the player again for at least 30 mins. If the unit powers up and you can see the display, keep the player connected for another 3-4 hours until it is fully charged before use, else contact our Customer Care Center for assistance.
