Clean after each use
For hygiene reasons, we recommend cleaning your Philips ear thermometer after each use. A lens filter is not needed.
Use a cotton swab
- Moisten the cotton swab with a few drops of alcohol and wipe the surface of the infrared sensor gently with the swab
- Immediately wipe the surface dry with a clean cotton swab
- Use a soft dry cloth to clean the body of the device
- Store the device in a clean, dry place at room temperature
