The descale light of my Philips steamer flashes on first use

In some cases, the light already starts to flash during first use. If this happens, you can still go on using the steamer.

After one hour of use, the descale light will switch off automatically and will stay off for the next 15 hours. If it switches on again after 15 hours of use, you have to descale the steamer.
