Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming diagnostic imaging, especially CT. Leading this change is Prof. Davide Ippolito. Using Philips advanced CT 5300, Ippolito’s team is pioneering methods that optimize image quality and sustainability. AI-driven technology allows them to significantly reduce radiation dose while improving image quality. This helps limit radiation exposure to patients while also minimizing environmental impact, setting a standard for future innovations.
At-a-glance:
- Discover how AI is revolutionizing CT imaging by reducing radiation exposure and energy consumption within hospital environments
- Uncover the impact of AI-based image reconstruction in enhancing diagnostic image quality while minimizing noise and artifacts
- Explore the advantages of low KV settings in cardiac imaging, improving visibility with reduced radiation and contrast usage
- Witness the reduction of radiation dose and contrast media usage, propelling healthcare towards more sustainable practices
The application of artificial intelligence during the acquisition process allows us to work with low radiation exposure.
