More than 55 million people worldwide are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and this number is expected to increase to 139 million by 2050. [1] Recent advancements in treatment require ongoing MRI scans to monitor patients and assess for possible Alzheimer’s-related imaging abnormalities (ARIA). [2] At least four additional MRI scans are required in the first 12 months of treatment for safety monitoring.
