If you are using the appliance in a room in which the ambient air quality is very poor, please open the windows and set the highest speed on the appliance to remove odours faster.
Your Philips Air Purifier should not be used in a room that is bigger than recommended. If this is the case, then its performance will not be optimal and some odours/smells may not be removed properly.
The recommended room size depends on your specific air purifier model. Please find this information on the Philips website or in your air purifier's User Manual.
The lifetime of the filter is not fixed. It depends on the ambient air quality.
You can place the filter in a well-ventilated place for a couple of hours to remove odours. If this does not help, you need to replace the filter.
