Tips
Get off to a glowing start

Express milk
Get comfortable before you get started - it can help to look at a photo of your baby.
Increase your supply
Nurse your baby regularly and try to pump between feeds to encourage your body to make milk.
Store your milk
Refrigerate newly-expressed milk for up to 5 days at 4 °C, or freeze for up to 6-months.
Common concerns
Be gentle with yourself when you start to breast feed, and do ask for help if it doesn’t work.
