Durable, but not reliable.
Philips O'Neill the BEND headband headphones has clear sound qualities. Giving better crisp sounds in whatever music you play. The choice of materials used in the headband and cable is impressive.
However, one disadvantage I've seen in this headphone is that it lacks bass sound, contradicts to what is written in the box. The sound volume is weak, therefore, not recommended for portable music players, smartphones, and even laptops! Furthermore, having a 30mm diaphragm in the headphone the ambient sound is not that filtered, and so, mixed with the sound generated by the headphone.
Despite the durability of THE BEND headphone there is one thing that the product has made its flaw: the cushion part of the headphone. It is made out of cheap leatherette material in which the shiny part of it would be easily worn out - scratching out every bits of pieces as it has been continuously used. The durability of it is questionable as the one I have been recently using torn out.
Overall, Philips O'Neill THE BEND headphones may possess such durability and provides good sound quality similar to DJ monitor headphones but lacks bass sound and some parts may not that reliable. I also do not understand the advantage of the headphone as being easy clip-in/clip-out aside from being manufacturing efficiency.
